About the GovKids CrewThe GovKids Crew are the guides for kids.miamidade.gov. All three members, Tommy, Maria and Reggie have parents that work for Miami-Dade County and each has a special interest in our County.Reggie
He is the cool kid of the bunch, and has the pulse of anything hip and happening around town. Because of his parents’ connections, he is the go-to kid for the gang to get into cool stuff like concerts and games at the AAA arena, parties and special events at the museum, library and parks, and is the first to know about cool programs for kids. Reggie loves music, movies, cultural stuff, the Heat and even has an autographed basketball from Dwayne Wade himself. He'd like to run for office when he grows up. He knows a lot about County politics and how it works to help the community. He has participated in Miami-Dade County’s Teen Court program and the Martin Luther King, Jr. Leadership Academy. He’s always connected – to his mp3 player and to everything going on around town. |
