Animal Services can help you find your new best friend.Animal Services is the County’s animal shelter. No animals are ever turned away. Each year, the shelter takes in more than 32,000 dogs and cats. Their goals are to find lifelong homes for as many animals as possible and to provide proper care during they’re stay at the shelter.

Finding a pet


Are you looking for a pet to share your home and heart with? Animal Services is the perfect place to start your search! Many of the dogs and cats at Animal Services have no home, so before you go to the pet store, come to the shelter. Adopting a pet is easy! You can search for a pet in person or online. Through the online search, you can look for a dog or cat by age, color and gender, and you’ll be able to view pictures of all available pets!
